When Wayne Ratcliff joined the sales staff of Baumans in 1973, the store had been
central Arkansas's premier men's clothing supplier for 54 years.


Today, Baumans — now owned by Ratcliff and located in the Pavilion Shopping
Center is busy west Little Rock, as well as downtown in the Capital Hotel — continues
to lead the way in supplying well-dressed men throughout the region.

Baumans has been recognized by almost every Arkansas weekly, daily and monthly
publication in readers' polls as "The Best Men's Store" in the state. Additionally, we
have been recognized by ESQUIRE Magazine as one of the Top 100 Men's Specialty
Stores for 10 consecutive years and recently were honored by MR Magazine, a
national trade publication, as one of the 25 most exciting retail stores in America.
